Statement on SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade

Prospero Latino CEO Jose Parra made the following statement today following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, outlawing abortion in the United States:
“Today, reproductive rights have been dealt a fatal blow. No governor, lawmaker, justice, or politician should have a say in what women do with their bodies, especially those from communities of color who face additional burdens in exercising their rightful autonomy. These are personal decisions, plain and simple. We call on Congress to codify Roe v. Wade as soon as possible. These attacks on personal freedoms are characteristic of totalitarian regimes where liberties are non-existent.”
